About Darin Jensen

Darin  Jensen is Associate Dean and Professor of English, Linguistics, and Writing Studies at Salt Lake Community College.

His work bridges research, teaching, and academic leadership, with a focus on literacy, equity, and innovation in higher education. 

With extensive experience in program development and faculty leadership, he has contributed significantly to national conversations in writing studies.

Teaching & Academic Leadership

Combining classroom expertise with institutional leadership, Darin Jensen has taught a wide range of writing and literature courses while mentoring students and faculty.
